About Course
Our Electric Overhead Travelling Crane training is available as a 3-day course for 3 candidates training at your premises. The crane must be in good usable condition and have a thorough examination certificate.

Structure:
Day 1:- Theory in the training room
- Introduction to the training area
- Area checks and isolator
- Pre-operational checks, completing the check sheet and fault reporting
- Candidates to get familiar with all controls, settings and safety systems
- Training room theory on lifting attachment and accessories
- Pre-operational checks complete check sheet and report any defects
- Safe Working Loads
- Centre of gravity of loads
- Lifting different types and sizes of loads
- Use of slinger and signaller
Day 3:
- Pre-operational checks complete check sheet and report any defects
- Practice for NPORS tests
- NPORS Theory tests
- NPORS Practical tests
- Results and NPORS registration
We also offer shorter courses for in-house training only.
Once basic training is complete the candidates will require specific and familiarisation training from the employer.
