In order to participate in this course, you will need:
- Have a basic understanding of the English language
- 2x forms of identification (ID and address)
About Course
Our Lorry Loader training is available as a 3-day course for one-to-one training at your premises. The lorry loader must be in good usable condition and have a thorough examination certificate.

Three Day Course
Structure:
Day 1:- Theory in the training room
- Introduction to the Lorry Loader and training area
- Pre-operational checks, completing the check sheet and fault reporting
- Setting up Lorry Loader for use in a safe area
- Candidate to get familiar with all controls, settings and safety systems
- Training room theory on lifting attachment and accessories
- Pre-operational checks complete check sheet and report any defects
- Drive and set up Lorry Loader in training area
- Loading and unloading the lorry with bricks, blocks, bulk bags etc.
- Safe Working Loads
- Centre of gravity of loads
- Safe load indicators
Day 3:
- Pre-operational checks complete check sheet and report any defects
- Practice setting up the lorry loader
- Load material to the lorry bed
- Preparing the lorry loader for safe travel
- Unload material from the bed of the lorry to the drop off point
- NPORS Theory tests
- NPORS Practical tests
- Results and NPORS registration
We also offer a 4-day course for 2 candidates and a 5-day course for 3 candidates
Once basic training is complete the candidates will require specific and familiarisation training from the employer.
