In order to participate in this course, you will need:

  • Have a basic understanding of the English language
  • 2x forms of identification (ID and address)
About Course
Our Skid Steer Loader training is available as a 3-day course for up to 3 candidates training at customers premises only.


Three Day Course


Structure:

Day 1:
  • Theory in the training room
  • Introduction to the Skid-steer loader and training area
  • Pre-operational checks, completing the check sheet and fault reporting
  • Basic manoeuvres 
  • 90 degree turns
  • Chicane 
  • Parking safely
  • Re-fuel
 
Day 2: 
  • Pre-operational checks, completing the check sheet and fault reporting
  • Picking up transporting and depositing loads
  • Stockpiling loads 
  • Loading Skips or Small lorry-van with sand or stone 
  • Fitting and removing attachments
  • Parking safely 
  • Re-fuel 

Day 3: 
  • Pre-operational checks complete check sheet and report any defects 
  • Practice test as per NPORS test requirements 
  • NPORS theory tests
  • NPORS practical test 
  • NPORS registration
 
Once conversion training is complete the candidates will require specific and familiarisation training from the employer.
